I am a photographer and writer based in Anchorage, Alaska. 2016 marked my 25th year as a professional photographer. I am probably best known for my long-term, Alaska photography projects. I also work with a variety of editorial clients, both as a photographer and writer, with an emphasis on natural history and environmental assignments. My fine art prints are in numerous private and public collections in Alaska and North America. I have been teaching classes on photography since 1995 and have been guiding throughout Alaska since 2003.

Other info:
Mountaineering instructor, Mountain bike coach and back-country guide. I have explored over two hundred glaciers and led over forty back-country trips in Alaska. Made two, 40+ day, solo traverses through the Nepal Himalaya (while carrying my 4x5 view camera). Led the first fat bike expedition across the Kobuk Dunes, northern most active sand dunes on Earth. I have an awesome son, wonderful wife and wild dog. Trying to master the art of ceramics.
