The photography of Carl Battreall

For the past fifteen years Carl Battreall has straddled the line between fine art photographer and adventure photographer. Carl frequently creates work for galleries, museums and corporate art

collections while at the same time creating dynamic images for editorial and stock clients.

Carl spent most of his twenties dedicated to the West Coast Tradition, photographing in black and white with his 8x10 view camera. He quickly befriended and earned the respect of many west coast masters. He was granted his first solo exhibit at the age of twenty four and was featured in the leading fine art photography magazine, Lenswork, that same year.
